There are few things more precious than natural stone and, like everything around us, it deserves the care and attention necessary to ensure its longevity. Marble is a durable material, but over time it may lose some of its most refined qualities. For this reason, at Luce di Carrara we have developed specific care guidelines to help it stand the test of time.
Our materials are reinforced with special sealants during both production and installation, each tested over time to guarantee the best protection and performance. They are therefore perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and all you need to do to preserve their natural beauty is to clean them regularly with water and then gently dry them with a cloth.
In some cases, however, you may wish to carry out a deeper cleaning using specific products recommended by Luce di Carrara. Whichever method you choose, it is essential to thoroughly remove water and cleaning agents to prevent the formation of stubborn stains on the surfaces. Protection and care are the key to keeping this magnificent and timeless natural stone at its very best.
The name OMO alludes to “homo,” the Latin word for “human,” and “omo,” Latin for “shoulder.” Inspired by diverse artistic traditions, from African figures to Japanese Kokeshi dolls, as well as the abstract art of Brancusi and Moore, the OMO sculptures follow a path of abstraction and simplification of the human form.
