Cleaning and maintenance
There are few things more precious than natural stone and, like everything that surrounds us, it deserves care and attention to ensure its longevity. Marble is a durable material, yet over time it may lose some of its most refined qualities. For this reason, at Luce di Carrara we have established specific guidelines for its care, so that it can stand the test of time.
Our materials are reinforced with special sealants during both the production and installation phases, each tested over time to ensure the highest level of protection and performance. They are therefore perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. To preserve their natural beauty, all that is required is regular cleaning with water, followed by gentle drying with a cloth.
In some cases, however, a deeper cleaning may be desired, using specific products recommended by Luce di Carrara. Whichever method is chosen, it is essential to carefully remove all water and cleaning agents to prevent the formation of stubborn stains on the surfaces. Protection and care are the key to keeping this magnificent and timeless natural stone at its fullest splendor.

The name of the collection is inspired by the 2010 book Miracle Crisps by Californian artist John Baldessari, as well as the iconic DCW molded plywood chairs by Ray and Charles Eames, nicknamed “Potato Chip.” This pop culture and iconic design reference gives the collection a distinctive character, blending art with functionality.
Previously showcased in an earlier exhibition, this luxury marble object set is now part of Luce di Carrara’s collection, becoming a symbol of the fusion between art and contemporary design.
The design of the Miracle Chips collection is also inspired by the “miracle fish,” a lucky toy fish that moves according to the heat and humidity of the hand. This symbol of good fortune, believed to reveal the moods, emotions, and temperament of its holder, perfectly reflects the playful and philosophical aspects of the sculptural marble art embodied in the collection.
