Time for Tea
During London Design Festival, Scholten & Baijings created an immersive installation where colour, materiality and craftsmanship come together in a refined spatial experience. Inspired by Fortnum & Mason’s iconic Eau de Nil tone, the space unfolds through a soft green palette and a delicate, atmospheric setting.
The installation featured elements from Luce di Carrara’s Marble Patterns collection, designed by Scholten & Baijings. On display were the Solid Pattern tables in Versilys marble and the Dots flooring pattern, creating a continuous dialogue between furniture and architecture.
Marble Patterns stems from an innovative production process in which reclaimed marble fragments are combined with coloured resins and bold graphic motifs, resulting in architectural surfaces that merge craftsmanship, technology and design research.
Within the installation, these elements highlighted Scholten & Baijings’ distinctive visual language and the contemporary versatility of marble.
