Living Marble
Luce di Carrara returns to Salone del Mobile 2026, evolving the concept of ‘Living Marble’ through four unique exhibitions and collaborations across Milan, where new ways of engaging with marble emerge, bringing together matter, history, territory, architecture, design, fashion, and art.
Beyond Surfaces
The exhibition introduces a new perspective —blurring the boundaries between wall coverings and the objects that inhabit a space. By integrating surfaces with furnishings and architectural elements, it creates immersive, cohesive environments defined by a total marble aesthetic.
A rich selection of new designs will be unveiled, including modular vanities and versatile storage solutions, each conceived to expand the expressive potential of marble within contemporary interiors. Through Luce di Carrara’s surfaces, marble evolves beyond material into experience: a tactile and visual language where refined textures invite both sight and touch, shaping spaces imbued with a sense of timeless elegance and quiet sophistication.

Matteriea
The initiative interprets the 2026 theme — Matter — through a dialogue between material, design, and territory, and is developed in collaboration with Franciacorta.
At the core of this exhabition will be the concept of material transformation: a principle shared by wine and marble, two elements that may seem distant but are connected by origin, process, and identity. Both arise from a specific territory and, over time and through human intervention, evolve to express form and character.

INSIEME
The exhibition “INSIEME”, curated by Sabato De Sarno in collaboration with Vanity Fair and Piscine Cozzi, takes place in the spaces of Porta Venezia, bringing together twelve Italian manufacturing companies. The project highlights what often remains invisible in design: human labor, technical knowledge, time, and experience.
Through an exhibition path structured around six material families: glass, ceramic, metal, stone, wood, and textile, the show offers a reading of contemporary making that places processes, gestures, and skills at its core, restoring value to the culture of production and the human dimension of design.

In the heart of Brera, in collaboration with Slowear, a special pop-up exhibition presents Luce di Carrara’s large-format wall coverings across a rich spectrum of textures and finishes
The pop-up celebrates the concept of ‘Living Marble’ by recontextualizing marble beyond its traditional applications—integrating it seamlessly into both bathroom and living room settings. Through a careful dialogue with Slowear the exhibition reveals how marble can shape contemporary interiors, bringing continuity, depth, and a refined sensorial quality to the spaces we inhabit.
