INSIEME
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Luce di Carrara, together with its parent company Henraux, took part in INSIEME, the exhibition curated by Sabato De Sarno for Vanity Fair, hosted at Piscine Cozzi.
The project brought together twelve Italian manufacturing excellences with the aim of exploring what often remains invisible in design: the value of human labor, technical expertise, the time required for creation, and the experience embedded in every gesture. Rather than focusing on finished objects, the exhibition shifted attention to processes, skills, and relationships that define contemporary making.

Before the objects, there are always people
The exhibition unfolded around six material families: glass, ceramics, metal, stone, wood, and textiles, offering a cross-cutting and deeply material-driven perspective on Italian production.
Within this context, Luce di Carrara contributed to the narrative of stone and marble, bringing to the forefront not only the aesthetic qualities of the material, but also its cultural and human dimension. Through its dialogue with Henraux, a vision emerged that highlights the entire marble supply chain, from its origin in the quarries to its transformation, shedding light on the essential role of craftsmanship, techniques, and manufacturing heritage.
Participation in INSIEME represented an opportunity to reaffirm marble not merely as a material, but as an expression of knowledge, identity, and innovation, in a constant balance between tradition and contemporaneity.
