A project that tells the story of our marble: between design, light, and conviviality
In the vibrant heart of Florence, on Via dell’Oriuolo, we had the opportunity to contribute to a project that fully embodies our vision of materiality: an 85-square-meter apartment designed by the Pierattelli Architetture studio, becoming the stage for a new way of living—both intimate and communal.
Surfaces and textures
Through the surfaces and textures of our marble, the project tells a fluid residential story, where the home is no longer just a container, but a living organism. A space where every daily gesture becomes an aesthetic experience, where light meets stone and reveals unexpected nuances, and where the material itself plays a narrative role: not just a decorative accessory, but a silent and sensitive protagonist of contemporary living.
The kitchen: the essence of purity
At the heart of the open space, the kitchen stands as the true experiential center of the home. It is a space designed to welcome and foster connection, where every element is carefully calibrated to offer beauty, functionality, and authenticity. Surfaces, materials, and light interact in harmony, creating a refined and essential atmosphere.
The project enhances the architecture of the space, reflecting natural light and highlighting clean lines and tactile refinement. More than just a functional zone, the kitchen becomes a living space—capable of expressing the purity of form and the warmth of shared moments. Completing the composition, the trays from the Lust collection are integrated as discreet yet significant details. Everyday objects that transform into functional micro-sculptures, capable of telling the story of marble in a contemporary key: versatile, colorful, and surprisingly everyday.
The Bathrooms: Materic Intimacy and Sculpted Beauty
Even in the bathrooms, marble speaks its own language. For the main bathroom, Versylis Step was chosen, designed by Pierattelli Architetture for Luce di Carrara. Its elegant surface, meticulously crafted, adds depth and visual rhythm to the space, transforming it into a place of intimacy and reflection.
In the guest bathroom, the choice fell on Tirreno in the Quilt finish, a marble that surprises with its natural movement and vibrant texture. The sculpted surfaces create plays of light and shadow that amplify the space, making it both welcoming and sophisticated.
