SBS works across both industrial product design and limited edition projects, constantly monitoring the creative world and seeking new trends and fresh perspectives to inject into its daily practice. SBS believes that the aesthetics of a product should be the result of a deep understanding of its essence, context, function, and meaning—not simply a matter of personal taste. In its projects, all of these elements are reinterpreted to coexist in new ways, always through a dedicated, tailor-made approach. The ultimate goal is to create a relationship between the product and its user that is first emotional, then physical.

SBS places particular emphasis on the powerful communicative potential of objects, viewing them as “emotion activators” before considering them as material entities. Over time, it has shifted the focus of its work from the technical design of an object to the design of the emotion it can evoke, giving more importance to the realm of perception than to the purely material aspect. SBS is currently working on projects for international brands such as Alessi, Moooi, MDF Italia, FIAM, Falper, Mingardo, and many others. Its work has been published in renowned magazines and blogs worldwide, including Zeit Magazin, Dezeen, Abitare, Elle Decoration, Elle Décor, Il Sole 24 Ore, Marie Claire Maison, Interni, Domus, and many others.
